Pics comparison, E46 M3 rotor versus E30 M3

Here are my E46 M3 rotors, 328x28mm, not sure what the diameter is on stock E30 M3 rotors, but its a lot smaller!

these will be going on next week with Hawk HPS pads.

Dam thoes are big! But don't forget that the E46 is a TANK compared to the E30, so it needs them big brakes.

To bad you need big rims for the brakes, or I'd be all over it!

Mike, yeah i think at least a 17" which wouldn't work under your 15" track wheels of course..

How are your Turner brakes? Is the difference even that great? I bet they look killer!

Any pictures of the calipers and hats from the Ireland kit by chance?

Uh well the hat is the center of the rotor, so clearly the hat is already in the last pic

Here's the caliper compared the my E46 M3 calipers.. which are a bit bigger than E36 M3 calipers

The IE caliper is a 2-piston, aluminum floating caliper.. long short pads, different from my short wide pads.

Did you have to use E46 spindles or do they fit the E30's?? I was wondering if this is something that could be done to my E36.

They bolt up to E36 M3's..

The IE brakes are extremely nice looking, very hot brakes!

Rears? not sure yet, i've read about 750i rear rotors bolting up.. i've got to explore that more.
