Q's on the gruppem intake for e46 m3

anyone have this intake. it seems to be the only intake out there that doesn't change the back half of the intake (like the hamann does). claims of 10hp i believe. does it really add hp and increase throttle responce. is the intake louder. in your opinion, is it worth the $1300 they are asking. thanks.

if you search the gruppem site it shows a dyno of it gaining 15.2 hp. i was thinking of getting it since ive heard only good things about it unlike the hamann one. heres the thread

that's NOT 15.2hp. that's 15.2PS!

i don't have the conversion, but it's not 1:1.

oh the conversion is actually 1 HP = 1.01387 PS. If you know of anyone who has a better intake on the market please tell.

When the CSL intake goes on sale it will be the best.

He, PS stands for Pferde Stárke (German exposure for Horsepower)

CSL intake will require alot of modifications. You will need software and I also believe that it also uses a different type of engine management, so new harness too. Don't quote me on this but this is what I read and the CSL is not even out.

I have that intake for my 330i and its for real. Go to www.e46fanatics.com a guy name ghost rider had dynoed the Gruppe M and Dinan and the Gruppe M came out on top. Its one of the best mods I have done for my car. I also put the Dinan software stage 2 in it as well as step software.
