Personally, I think the m3 wheels look better for the 3series than the m5 wheels. I mean, just think about it. If they looked better on a 3 series, BMW would've put them on it. I have a black e36 325i and I seriously thought about getting e46 m3 rims for my car, until i found a really good deal on some 18" chrome. As far as pics, go to Autovogue.com, then navigate into e36 section. You'll see a menu on the left. go to ( i beleive ) AVR products for e36. Then go to bodystyling. There should be a sliver e36 w/ m3 rims.
There's alot of choices w/ m3 rims. #1, size of course ( get 18"s )
#2, finish ( silver or chrome) and #3, style ( I've seen a couple different variations of e46 m3 wheels.) such as, Euro style (no lip) NA style (most common), na style w/ a black chrome finish, Na style silver w/ a carbon black lip. Its up to you. you can find the euro style on ebay or others at Thewheelexchange.com.
