| it would require finding lower compression pistons, or rebuilding the cylinder head to lower the comp. ratio, which would be completely custom work AFAIK, which would be big $$$$. charlie

| I've got a integra gsr w/ high compression (10:1) and I'm thinking of putting on a thicker head gasket to drop compr a little. Just a thought though.

| They have superchargers running on the E46 m3 with stock compression hitting 400+hp i believe however they are blowing up, haha. The only mods I would do toa street e46 m3 is modify the intake a bit, Custom tune the ecu, replace headers back, and thats it. The only other thing you need to do is remove 400+ lbs from the car. If you can top the scales at 3000lbs it'll be perfect. it'll brake, accerlate, handles, basically do everything better. |

| All right then. Looks like not too much to do. I have thought about intake, exhaust and chip (the usual) but from what I've heard, intake and exhaust are already good enough stock and limited gains would be seen. I'll keep in mind reducing the wait though... Thanks for the help guys.
