Group buy on 2003 E46 M3's

ok guys. Seems like all the dealers in this area are selling 2003 M3s at MSRP.

But since my friend and I are getting 2, a local dealer is willing to go below MSRP. They will go even lower if I get more buyers.

So..

Any one local to this area interested in a group buy on 2003 M3s?

Delivery takes 2-3 months if you custom order one.

And yes, this tread is a JOKE

C'mon Buddy, You're buying a BMW M, no need to be a cheap bastard. If you think the car is too much for you, then step down to an IS300. I like to save money, but I would hate to undercut BMW pricing and what the car is worth. Sometimes I can see my self pay Full Pop if the item is worth it. I THINK THE M3 has earned its worth.

I think someone is going to feel bad when 8 guys on this forum gets their M3's for the same price this guy paid for his CI

Personally I'm all for discounts and such ... anyhow those are DEALER markups, bmw sells to dealers at about the same prices anyways so I could care less how much a dealer gets undercut. But hey, if you want to pay $50k+ for your M3, nobody is stopping you =)

OaklandE46 people like you make me sick!
if you want to throw money away go ahead but i dont like doing that so if someone doesnt either, dont judge them or critacise them!
a friend just got a great deal!
pm him and maybe hell hook you up!
Well first off I paid $48,200 for my M3. It has the premium package, heated seats, it also has the power seat package, and Bi-Xenon. I get deals on M5's, M3's, and 3 series BMW's through my dad's friend. He finds the deals and he gets the car for cheap. I am not sure if he will be able to find you a car to be financed but I will ask him and make sure. If he does I will PM you and give you the details and maybe even order your car for you and make sure you get it in a time that you will be happy with. Have a good day. -Nima

guess how much i paid for my two cars below? Both bought new with less than 10 miles on the odometer..

if paying msrp or over for a car makes you happy go for it.

Getting a good deal makes me happy.

I'm sorry, but this makes me laugh. I sell Porsche for a living, and I love it when people come in and say, "How big's my discount?" Newsflash: these cars are so limited, there is no discount. Especially the guys that expect a C4S, 986S, or a Turbo. It's funny. They just can't believe that we're not willing to discount.

When I worked for BMW, there was no way we'd sell an M car for anything less than retail. If you didn't like it, you weren't buying a car. Of course, since I left BMW in 2000, the E46 M3 was introduced, and those things are as common as any other 3 series, so why not discount? I guess.

Well, that's how I see things here anyway. Maybe it's different in the US.

agreed!
the way you should start a conversation with a sales person is: this is the car i want, this is the money ill give down, this is my credit and how much are you willing to give down on the mrsp?
if he/she says nottin no probs you just turn your back and go to another one!

ahh my friend just picked up a new 996 from HBL in vienna VA for ~$1k over invoice....

There is a dealer in SC that is offering to get rid of a new 996 turbo in the low $100k or lease it for a rediculous low amount.

I purchased my 2001 m coupe with the S54 motor new with only 8 miles on it. Paid 8k under MSRP.

i just dont get it when people believe they HAVE to pay MSRP or over for a car.

Good deals are out there.
