Look, Mr. Oakland, I simply stated that whoever doesn't bargain lacks social skills. Your response was that you just have pride and you don't have time to nickel and dime to save $5,000 for 2 hours of work (that's why you drive a 323ci! ). That's absolutely fine with me, I could care less if you paid over MSRP for a BMW/GM. From a business point of view, pride doesn't mean shit. And why are you disrespecting the 325e? The car is a classic. As soon as you made that statement the first thing I thought of was an analogy; prejudice against blacks in the pre-1950's and how they were only allowed in designated areas in America. DTMPower.net is a free site for different model cars to go to other forums, just like how the black man can now walk free in America. In this situation you would be considered the man with the white sheet over his head sustaining the ethnocentrism that whites (E46) are better than blacks (E30).

Kaiwang, I am in all kinds of business, In this economy, I cannot survive with just one. Currently, I am with Debt collection and (SPI) Sports Points Investments. Good luck with your M3 purchase, I hope to see you got a fair deal. I am actually purchasing a car this afternoon and I am just killing time until the dealer opens. And YES, I am paying the fair market value since there is really no room to negotiate for ML55's. Anyway, good luck.

care to explain yourself? i don't think the controversy would have ever started if you didn't "aggressively" ridicule someone for wanting to save on the purchase of an M3.
i don't undertsand your theory behind paying full price, but it really is none of my business. however, i think you need to come to the realization that car dealers are not going to go on welfare because people come in and bargain with them. just as the consumer is entitled to say "no" to a salesman, a salesman is entitled to to say "no" to a consumer. when both parties say "yes", a deal is struck and no one goes home unhappy. i don't want to go to the extent of saying car dealers are corrupt, but their shrewdness when it comes to business is kaiwang's raised to the 10th power, at the bare minimum! have you ever tried selling a car back to the dealer, or traded a car in? do they have a problem offering you several thousands less than the kbb trade in value? do they give a sh*t how you feel? hardly. i'm trying to dump an XK8 with a kbb value of $55K. the dealer offered $45K. business is business. eat or be eaten. all is fair!
