harness bar for an e46 m3 Hi Guys: I have been calling around all day to find a harness bar or something in which i can attach a a 6 point harness to. 3 out of the four guys that i actually got in touch with recommended that I post a message here and possibly get an opinion from someone that's actually done it.

don't attach a 6pt to a harness bar... go 4pt, or get a roll loop minimum... if you do a harness bar + a 6pt, when you roll the car, the 6pt holds you from being able to slide down into the footwell, and you get a broken neck... no fun. there isn't much out yet for the e46 m3 specifically, but any e46 setup should work. tc kline sells bolt in roll bars / cages / safety equipment, but there is a wait list for their loops/cages last time i checked... www.tcklineracing.com DAS Sport also makes setups... here is a whole writeup, i went and got the link for u. http://www.dtmpower.net/pictures/das...das-sport.html

Thanks Pete Many people Ive called have told me that. But I really dont think i will end up tracking this car all that much. I think the possibility of me rolling the car is not higher than now. I need something that is as or stronger than my current stock seatbelts. Plus, I would like to retain the function of my rear seats. Any other suggestions?
