| I dont think its $7500... Maybe for the Sport evo package which is 380hp (supposedly). It includes exhuast, chip, airbox kit. (http://www.sgmotorsports.com/m3e46/images/airbox5.jpg) But even that seems a high price. I heard the carbon fiber peice was around $1800, the muffler is probably $1500, and the airintake part is probably $750. Sad thing is, other then saving a couple lbs, you get about 5 hp from it, pretty bad. You would do better by stripped the entire car and saving 300lbs. Lighter wheels, flywheel, brake, a better gear set, with maybe smaller increments ebtween each gear, giving a better track setup (close ratio can get 170mph with the 6spd most likely). I am going to contact scott and ask him how he likes the airbox. |

| Well I spoke with the owner of that site. They actually have not installed any of those parts yet (chip, exhuast, intake system (manifold/cai)) Anyway they said they are expecting very good gains, and a decent amount of weight loss. He's keeping me posted, but we had a couple ncie chats about the system. He is very excited, and I hope he should atleast hit 365hp with his setup. |
