| ya exactly. its just a little "crunchy" =) the old E36 european 6spd is the same tranny as the new E46 6spd (at least the actual gear cluster itself is the same, the bell housing might be different but i seriously doubt it) tommoro ill check part numbers to see if theyre exact

| You guys need to learn how to drive, hahaha, jk I've shifted from redline to 2nd quite a few times and it never "crunches" or grinds... dunno what you guys are doing =P |

| maybe you arnt banging it hard enough heheyou really have to slam it. not just a regular upshift.. like an abusive drag strip style one and its only done it 2 thati know so yours might be fine

| my dad was complaining that the shifts arent smooth, and he said that for his taste the throws are too long. I told him why dont we just get a short shift kit. he was like how much i was like UUC has one for 220 and Rogue Engineering has one for 260. My friend told me the Rogue is a lot smoother, which one do u guys recommend??????

| I do slam it in... this is when I launch or race. I chirp 2nd and sometimes 3rd... it feels pretty okay to be. I do admit the car is pretty hard to drive smoothly, especially shifting from 1st to 2nd. But I never get a crunch or grind ![]() |
