| Forced Induction will be possible. Look at the S2000. Isn't compression lke 12:1?? I might be wrong, it might be closer to 11.x:1 or something like that, but look at all the blowers available for that car and look at how many are advertised through shows and magazines. Weren't there many SC's available for the E36 Euro Spec motor as well too? There aren't many differences from the euro spec E36 motor and now current E46 M3 motor right? Compression should at least be....CLOSE to the same.....Just my o2 cents.....

| S50: Do you really think after doing so much work, constant testing and development work that anyone would let the whole world know what their exact engine specs are! Do you see Champ car teams advertising what turbo sizes and compressor trims they use, or camshaft profiles, don't thinks so! If you consider the M12 motors racing history its no suprise that such a small motor can make so much power. Hell over 20 years ago BMW North America were running E21 320i turbos with this exact engine in IMSA and were producing over 600 bhp, with mechanical injection and older turbo technology! Do I have to mention the F1 power outputs too, you got to know about that! ![]() |

Easy mate. IIRC I didn't ask for exact engine specs. I was simply curious to see what CR you are running, which grade of fuel, and what size turbo(T61, T66, etc....). I did not ask what your cam profiles are, which valve springs you are running, the dome shape of your pistons, what headwork you have done, the a/r of the turbo, what trim wheels you're running, nor if it's a tangential or on-center turbine. Again, just amazed as to how much power you're putting out and curious about some GENERAL questions. Thanks anyways. ![]() |

I won't reveal the CR but the fuel we use is BP100 avaiation fuel, we would like to use VP C16 but the cost is nearly 3 times as much as the stuff we use and its not as readily avaliable. I must say I am suprised that you think its a heap of power, well ok it is heaps but what they did in F1 was plain crazy! With 1500cc they made 1350 bhp in qualifying trim, in 1986! |
