E46 M3 engine in a E36 M3

Is this possible? People always talk bout doin euro swaps. Im betting that the electrical problems would be outrageous. Jus wondering if it is possible. I know nething is possible with money but be realistic.

The idea is great: upgrading to 333hp from 240hp. But from all of the Mfailure stories I've been hearing, you might want to factor that in as well. But I'm sure that time is gone, prohably.

I wouldnt do that, because the high compression that comes with it from the factory means you can't modify the engine.

I've heard rumors that Steve Dinan gave it a try. I guess the wiring and the cost of it was outrageous. In the end, it didn't work out. I don't know how far it got, but it never came to be.

I'm sure that once there a enough of the engines out there, it'll happen.
