E46 M3 - Too common?

yeah... that is like 1991 to 2000 when i saw 12342384234 e36s rolling around the streets. same thing. e36 era is over... its the e46 and thats what people are buying... not the e36. people like to have the newest and that is what people are buying and people are driving. and thats why bmw makes them.

things are funny like that - i get more excited seeing any e30 on the street because i see more e36's and e46's. when i see a e30 it makes my day, especially a modded one which is rare for me (to see a modded e30), when i see a e36 im checking to see if its a REAL ///M or not, and when i see e46 im usually checking if its a ///M or even modified.

I think that its too common because people buy it because its the best. I don't like the people that buy it because of that. The people like that are usually the snobs and have any respect for other M's.

I saw an old guy in an E30 M3 and he waved at me because I was staring at his car and knew it was another M3. I do too think that the E30s are the nicest of the M3s.

Yes the e46s are too common. I wouldn't have enough fingers to count how many of those are around the block where I live. It seems like everywhere I look, it's a e46. I would love to own a e30 M3 with a 3.2L swap engine in it sometime in the future which I can use as a track car.
