Difference in E36 M3 and E46 M3 ECIS/RE SS?

I was looking at the SS on ECIS' site and noticed a 165 v 250 price difference between the E46 and E36 M3 Shifters. The pic next to the kits seems to infer that a carrier is not required on the E46, but when you click on the picture it comes up w/ the same listing of components. Anyone have any in site on this?
