How's an e46 M3 in the winter?

Title says it all. How does it drive in the winter/snow, being a powerful RWD car? Is it a good daily driver?

most likely better than your silver bullit. less torque, less power, and packed with all kinds of gizmos, traction, abs, and a shitload of different electronically controlled individul wheel spin features that neither of us would quite understand.

E46 M3 is a great daily driver. Fairs rather well in winter/snow ONLY with winter wheels/tires. Tirerack sells a couple combos.

i dont know if yur just wondering or yur planning on using a E46 M3 in the winter.....but, if you can afford a E46 M3....you can afford some kind of a sh^tbeater for the winter

That's not true, you don't have to be rich to drive an M3. I know people who's lives are practically dedicated to making payments on their cars and they can't afford anything else.

yea like me.. almost my enitre pay check goes to pay for my car... and its a 94 i think i get like 30 bucks a month for my self and most of that goes to gas mwahahahahahah

You can last with $30 a month on gas... makes me want to cry! It costs me the equivalent of $60 to fill up one tankful!

i cant afford driving it hard kuse of the gas comsumption so i take it easy and i fill up at half a tank so its a lot less depressing paying with a 20 or something... also my car has a petite lil gas tank
and i keep the motor in tip top shape so i get awsome millage and i dont have a m3 like you :P i have a 325

Shouldn't be a problem with a good set of snow tires and DSC running.

I've never gotten into a problem with my 328is with snow tires of 540i 6 speed with snows either. DSC is really quite nice.
