Does anyone know when it will be possible to put deposit on the E46 M3 CSL?

I heard that it has been given a go ahead and will be available around summer 2003. I want to put a deposit on one but have a feeling most dealerships will have no idea what I'm talking about.

Has anyone spoken to any BMW reps or salespeople and can give me some advice?

That's news to me.. as far as i know the CSL was nothing more than a design concept, and there are no plans and never were to sell it.

Be real cool if they did make it available though.. but you know that those engine mods, and seats aren't making production if it does happen

correction, yes it will be produced, infact, sometime in 2003, only 500 limited production CSLs will be on the market availiable to customers. Dealers in UK are already accepting deposits, its just a matter of time they make the news to the NA.

Yep...it IS being produced. if you know the right people, and have power (money in this case), it wont be too hard to get your name on the list. Just make some phone calls, and make some deals to get it imported and your good to go.
