| E46 M3 Owners please advice! Guys, I was wandering if you have difficulty getting into second gear in your M3. Mine feels like there is something in between 1st and 2nd gear that you have to push it into 2nd gear. The rest of the gear is fine. Is this normal? I have done 7000 kms so I presume it is run in. Please advice! Don ![]()

| I've experienced this ever since I got my car... everyone that drives it notices it to EXCEPT the dealership... so who knows... I found that if you lift up your shift boot that sometimes the adapter for the illuminated shift knob gets in a weird position... I just taped mine to the shifter so it wouldn't get in the way... seemed to help a little cause sometimes it would get in the way... |
