How do you install E46 M3 rims onto E36 M3?

I am very interested in this. Although I may not have the funds readily available to do it at the moment. I really want to know what is involved and how much am I looking at? Also, I have heard there are replica wheels available on the market as we speak...is this true? ANY information that you guys can provide would be GREATLY appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS!

Only the fronts from the E46 M3 will fit the E36. The rears have an offset that does not work on the E36 without major bodywork. If you really want to put them on you should get four fronts.

So what you're REALLY trying to say is.............

So basically you guys are saying that the E46 M3 FRONT rims are direct bolt ons to E36 rotors? That is SWEET !!!

I really hope you guys are right. In my own personal opinion I do not think that the fronts are gonna look bad (even without that small lip) all you gotta do is drop the car just right and it should look BANGIN'!!

Anyhow, thank you guys for that info. If anyone else cares to add their suggestions or advice on this matter I am open to them. So please fill me in!

THANKS GUYS

they're right, e46 m3 front rims will fit on all 4 corners of the e36.

www.thewheelexchange.com has replicas. unsure of the quality. they're made in italy.

I work for a dealearship in Maryland (Fear the Turtle) and we just had a customer trade in the old rims from his E36 convertible. He was very happy with the way the four fronts looked on his car and so was I. It filled out the wheel wells "O so nicely". A friend of mine has some pics of it, I'll see if I can borrow and scan them. Enjoy.

i'm thinking about the ssr line, either the gt1 or the integrals. my first choice would be the bbs rc's but tirerack didn't have them listed for the e46 m3's. i just want to get something lighter...something under 20 lbs.

not sure, check w/ tirerack website. you might be thinking about the ssr competition which are like 15lbs. but are known be bend under loads such as track sessions. i think the ssr's are about 20lbs. and the bbs is around 18lbs.
