| DSC light camed on while driving.. Today i was driving and without turning off the DSC, traction control light came on on the dash board as well as the "BRAKE" sign came up in orange (not in red which usually happens whenever I pull up the hand brake). I have an M3 2004. does anyone knows what that might be? my bimmer is still under factory warranty and will check with the dealer but just wanted to know if anyone had the same issues and let me know what is it in advance? peace.... |

| the bimmer logs all the computer trips that happen, so if it's still under factory warranty just take it in and they can retrace when and why the lights went on....also sounds like a limp mode but usually the ELM light appears to, I think it's ELM, I'm not exactly sure of the acronym... I'm new to this site, so hello and I hope that helps. |

Guess that's why the mechanic for my car lives in a bigger house than I do these days...lol Hey more power to him, someones gotta learn it..I know I can't |
