| My dyno, whatchya think? The car freaking sounds AWESOME!! I had a frayed wire problem, was no where I have been, or anybody since the dealer touched it last spring . Can I or Peter prove BMW is at fault, yea right. $300 wire bundle and everything was looking better, so Peter went ahead and remapped my ECU.
In a nut shell:
CSL headers
HJS high flow race cats
ECU remapped
Labor, some coffee, some welding here and over there and I am ready for a trip to the Ring.
Performance Mods for the first dyno were: CAI, B&B muffler 285 HP & 228 Torq
Performance mods for the second dyno were: CAI, B&B muffler, CSL headers, HJS cats, remapped ECU (new wire bundle to the engine - does this count - who knows, but Peter insisted on replacing it before he put his name to it) 316 HP / 251 Torq.
Was it worth it, HELL YES! Pulls pretty hard. Peter even adjusted my Koni rears after his test drive - said I needed to be a little more firm back there! This evening I went cruzing around, window down, 2 hours later & almost a half a tank of gas, I didn't want to get out of the car
What type of dyno machine was it, I don't know. Why didn't he reach redline on both printouts, don't know that one either! It was a Friday evening, and I just wanted my car back & to go driving. So post up your questions & comments and I will field them or take them to Peter if I can't answer them - Thanks for looking.
Gus
PS - I guess it is time to change my signature
