M3 question...

i am currently an b5 s4 owner, and i am looking to go an e46 m3. however theyre still slightly out of my price range. i am curious to know when the e90/e92, m3 is coming out and wondering if i should wait in anticipation that current models will drop a lil or doesnt really matter???

secondly, is there an faq with the most common issues/problems with e46 m3 that new/prospective owners should be aware of?

I believe the E90 M3 is slated for '08.

Word on the street is 07-08. It sure will help the price by waiting until the e90/2 releases, but if you really cant wait, go for it. I wouldnt blame you for jusmping on one now.

Are early model e46 m3s out of your range or just the 06?

If the E46 is out of your range then don't even think about the E90. You might as well save money and buy a used E46.

you may have misunderstood. i was hoping that the release of the e90 would push the price of the e46'ers a lil lower... not that im waiting to buy a new m3.

all e46, unless they have extreme mileage... everyone i seem to find is still mid thirties and up.

I definately think they will push the price of the E46 a little lower once the E90 comes out.

I dont think that the release of the e-90 ///M will drop the price of the e46 much if any. Just time and MILAGE will do that to what I've noticed.

ok first, shut up about the fucking spolier, u have 7 posts and ill bet they are all about that. no fucking spolier god damnit. what a waste of money.

and yes i really do think the price will go down becuase i knoew that there are a few people with e46s that are going to ahve to have an e90 and there will be more for sale.

Word from BMWNA is that the e90 M3 also dubbed the e93 will be released in Spring of 07' which is less than a year away. The 335si is being delievered to the US shores in August, so there is not much of a wait for the e93.

I think it will only slightly affect the current market for the e46 m3's and it will most likely be those left over as brand new.
