Owners of E46 M3... question for you...
I posted a few weeks ago that I was gonna get replica M3 mirrors... however.. recent fortunate fu*k-ups left me with an OEM set of M3 mirrors at US$300 a pair.. including the lenses and motors..

Now the question is... how do you fold the mirrors? is there a switch in the console that folds the mirrors inwards? i will be picking them up tomorrow so i have no idea...

You have to fold it going upwards. I'll take a pic when I get back from school if you want, mate.

yup manually. Don't be scared to push it upwards you need to give it a lil push.

Only the M5 has electric folding mirrors, the M3's do not.

Now,why would they do such a thing like that?? They also leave the other good stuff out such as floating brake rotors and 19 inch rims!

atomic80 and M3Pinoydriver, can you guys post pics anyways with your mirrors all folded up. I saw an M5 all ACSed out and the mirrors were all folded up, i liked it alot. Im a big fan of M5s and M3s

Like someone said before...the euro M3's do have electric folding mirrors. That guy probably ordered the same euro mirrors and retrofitted them on his car. I was JUST at the dealership and saw two M3's and neither one of them had electric folding mirrors.
