e46 m3 exhaust

Has anybody got any advice for upgrading the exhaust on my smg m3 - have a choice of supersprint/acs/hamann and eisenmann, but from what I can see they dont make a much beter sound and not much BHP difference

any advice

Dyno proven HP gain. There is also a sound clip. Should be released soon.

just wait a little bit more ,im in the same boat,its klling me!all the ones you listed are mild sounding,but then again depends in what kinda sound your looking for.pesonaly i would wait for the B&B to come out.ive been using them for along time they sond great and the power is there too,on a naturaly aspirated car the gains with a exaust arent going to be more 8-9 hp,specialy if a car is finetunned.the AA is ok but looks stock,i heard it on their site,but i would have to hear it in person to realy tell.

Yea, B&B, Tubi, and a couple other smaller companies are coming out with them as well. But right now, i would go with AA, sounds good, dyno proven. BUT, before any of that, make sure you can't just get a hi-flo newer version from bmw. We have some info from bmw (friend at M) that they have a new high flow m3 exhuast being put on the newer m3's, so we're trying to get that. I'll let ya know. But that raspy sound would prob still be there, but maybe a louder better sounding exhuast can overtone it. Peace

Someone sent me some pics of a Hamann exhaust on thier M3 and it looks great the pics will be up this weekend, it's pro looking stuff!

Heres Hammans engine packages, 380hp
HAMANN Sportkit EVO. Performance tuning to 380 hp / 279 kW. Engine conversion includes: Airbox in Carbon/Kevlar incl. sports air filter, sports exhaust manifolds, 4-pipe sports exhaust system, recalibrating of Motronic incl. release of 250 km/h speed limiter.

my cousin has a white e46 m3 with ac schnitzer exhaust.
It sounds GREATTT and it also looks GREATTT

but i dont really know about the performance though.
If I ever get an m3 thats the exhaust that i will use.

It was prooven at the dyno that the Ac Schnitzer lost about 7HP!!

Most likely. The AA has a lot of R&D, and dinan's exhuast will as well since its taking so long for development. this is only b/c bmw is so awesome, they created a great car. HOWEVER BMW is releasing a high flow muffler for the new m3's. We should be getting one to test soon, and i'll let ya'll know how it is.

Nice! Nicelooking e46 m3 man. How does it sound with the supersprint and Hamman exhuast? Very loud? GET US SOME SOUND CLIPS, I'D LOVE TO HEAR THAT BEAST. thanks

Except this setup is reliable, the m turbo would not last long and need a rebuild every like 500miles.. or less!
