| if it is certified pre-owned (CPO) from a bmw dealer i'd say thats a pretty good price because CPO gives u a 6 year/ 100k mile warranty from the original in service date, if its from a private seller or non-bmw dealer its about average, see if u can get the original window sticker to compare the purchase price to what they r asking, also check out kelly's blue book (kbb.com) or edmunds.com to get a price, then check autotrader to see how the market is playing for that car ps-is this the car? this one |

| that seems like a pretty good deal, i like the color combo, LSB is my fav color for the e46, but i'd never seen one with a cinnamon interior, good luck with it |

| when he says cash he may mean thats new not financing it, that hes just gonna get one big check for the car, but for that suburban ur friend could prob have gotten it for alot less then 45k even if he financed it cause GM has tons or rebates, u almost never pay the msrp for one of their cars |

| Sounds to me like its a good deal. That low of mileage for a vert seems like a good price. I guess it all depends on if they have the 19inch rims? SMG? shit like that. The M3's seem to have a knack at holding their value. When i was looking at my coupe, it seems they all are priced relatively close. not a lot of fluctuation in prices.

| yea.. well he bought the car. i was driving it yesterday and its as good as it gets. russell bmw is also allocated 3 of the new m5's and one is up for grabs, so my dad is gonna get his hands on that when they come in which is going to be really something.

| Yeah Honestly, for cash for new or used car. If i really wanted a deal i'd bring cold cut cash to the dealer and say to that guy $54,9 ? how about $40 cash ?i'm pretty sure it'll do. |

| i dont think bringing a dufflebag of cash would lower the price of any car from a dealer substantially. it seems actual cash would be more of a pain then a check just written for the amount, or i could just be completely wrong. maybe ill get a briefcase of cash for the m5 and see how that goes.

| if u bring a check there is a record for the actual amount of money that was exchanged, but cash is more or less untraceable and therefore untaxable, so it would be possible to get a better deal on it. |
