| Hammerfang you have some points, and md... Yes it is a big deal than a check. To write a check at that amount would take some time to verify. Hell if you go to a retail store and write a check of any high amount sometimes they have trouble. Cash is always good.... Its practically the universal language |

| If it's loaded and certified pre-owned, it's probably a good deal. As to the dealer offering a discount for cash, I doubt it. They have to report cash transactions over $10K to the Feds and I don't think a reputable dealer is going to risk getting nipped for something like this. Maybe if it's Klem's used BMW and Chevy they might give a discount but I can't imagine a top-line BMW dealer doing it. Also, remember that they make money on financing so when you pay cash, it takes that leverage away. |
