looking for advice on 03 m3

decided to purchase a newer 03 and leave my e36 behind. what should i look for in an 03? anything in particular i should be weary about? what are maintance on these cars like? (frequent or not so frequent repairs?) im purchasing this car as a daily driver..... so its gonna get beat like a government mule. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

E46 M's are not cheap to maintain. Look to spend at least 1k a year in upkeep. Rear tires go every 10k or less (no matter how you drive) fronts last twice as long. Oil changes are $150, Inpection I and II are 1200 and 1700.

I would say look for a CPO that still has some of the 4yr/50k mantinence on it. That way everything but tires are covered.

If you want a car to drive daily and are worried about the cost, than an E46 m3 is not a good choice. It's more than twice as expensive to keep than a E36 M3. Good luck!

cost isnt really bothering me much. i just dont want too much downtime. so im more concerned about how frequently are the breakdowns if any.

No problems with my 02 and it had 33k miles on it. Haven't had any problem with my 05 yet...but it only has 250 miles on it

I think most people have had great luck with the e46 m3, and if you get one that is still warrantied then you won't have to worry about it.
