Used E46 M3 Pricing I have the opportunity to buy an 2200 mile E46 M3 with every possible option except cold weather pkg for $48,000. The car is black / black. At first I thought this was an awesome deal, but now looking more, there seems to be a good share of them going for $48-49k. Anybody know some recent sale prices of these cars, as I dont want to be buried in the car. Last edited by Todd : 01-16-2002 at 03:45 PM.

Ive seen them go as low as 45 for a few of them fully loaded. The market for the new m3's isnt as hot as they expected it to be... A lot of dealers saw that no one was biting on the jacked price tags so many dealerships were actually selling them for retail price. And of course, like any other car its going to depreciate. Dealer price on the new m3 is 47 and some change, so it depends on the dealership how much they mark it up, either way, im sure that you will find some cheaper ones if you keep looking, or maybe the current owners would be willing to negotiate...

| If i were you id buy it in a heartbeat here in Boston they go for more money used. There was a 2001 LSB with 11,000km no navi, rock chips that sold for 53,000. you guys have it cheaper than Boston.

The base for the car seems to be $46,545, not $45,000. The car with these options below is $53,545. I dont think any california dealer will sell one under msrp, so that figure with all the fees is close to $60k. The only advantage I see buying used, is that you are basically buying the car at close to invoice price, and all the fees are paid. A dealer cant fudge sales tax, a private owner can put whatever. Premium Package $3,200 Power glass moonroof $1,050 Width-adjustable power front seat backrests $500 Heated front seats $500 Bi-xenon headlights $700 BMW On-board navigation system $1,800 Harman Kardon premium sound system $675

Seems like a good price for the car. I test drove a 2001 for $49,999 with 5300 miles and had rock chips in the hood and had been bumped in the rear. I had no intentions of buying it, just ragging the shit out of it.
