Sorry, just have to respond to this.

AWD is what you want in a street race. I constantly cut 1.7' 60' times with my everyday street tires. RWD cars that can cut that kind of 60' on the stock rubber are few and far between if any.

By the way, my car made 300hp to the wheels not crank. What will an e46 m3 with $300 with mods put down?

As for the "m3 eater" part....

There arent many cars out there that can match the e46 in terms of speed and class. This WRX is not one of them. Sure, it may be faster than an e46 but I don't think anyone in their right minds would rather own this car if they could afford the M3.

With that being said, I actually had the chance to race a very nice graphite e46 M3 convertible the day I had the car tuned. I still had a 1/4 tank of 112 in the car and was running 24psi. We went from a 60-65 roll on the interstate. I let off at 140 (the speedo doesnt go any higher :/ ) and he was aways back there. I have no clue if it was a 6MT or SMG.

FWIW, it ran a 12.5@109 on 93 octane. Never made a full pass on 112 because of "tranny issues"

Anyways, thanks m3racer36 for posting it up. I appreciate the help. I'm looking forward to tinkering with something new.

Wow, 12.5 is impressive. What kind of power did those cars come with stock in 02?

it is amazing how tunable that engine is...220 crank to 300 wheelis impressive on pump gas, this is why factory turbo engines are so great (Hint Hint BMW)

Theyre rated at 225hp and 215ft-lbs at the crank in stock form. Stock WRX dyno right around 170hp and 170ft-lbs to the wheels on the same dyno I was tuned on.

Just sold the car today for 20k. Yeah, it was on the stock tranny.

So that RA gear set broke on you? What were the circumstances?

it was a really sloppy build job done by rallispec. at first the lash wasnt even close to being set right but my mechanic caught it before it went in. im guessing that its maybe a bearing or something in the ring and pinion gears since it now whines like my mrt dogbox when im in gear and when im in neutral or when i have the clutch in. its being rebuilt right now. never even got a chance to launch it or even drive it hard. im kinda dissipointed that rallispec was so careless since they seem to have a good reputation.
