Turbo M3 vs. De-Badged E46 M3

After the Sunday Brunch today, I was dropping my friend Mary off at her house, and then I had to go to work. We get behind a de-badged E46 M3 with an old man and his son in it. I was like, hey Mary, check it out...either someone stole his badge, or he de-badged it on purpose.

So I freaking drop it in 4th, and gun it and get right up next to him at this point. The little kid looks over at Mary and gives her this look from hell. Of course that pissed me off, so I ****ing floored it for like 2 seconds and tried to get him to bite. He wouldn't do it.

We exit the freeway on to University, and I get right next to him at the light. I rev it a few times to let him know I want play.

He wimped out. No race. So..who knows how I would do against an E46. I have more horsepower and torque, but sometimes that doesn't mean anything.

I made SURE he heard my turbocharger when I took off.

Maybe next time?

whats the point of debadging a e46 M3?? the exterior is alot different compared to the normal 3 series unlike the e36 m3's

Somebody probably stole the badge, those bastards. When I'm old I made a promise to myself that I'll race anybody that revs their engine or downshifts and floors it next to me, not be some conservative driver like most middle aged guys are (no offense to any of you middle aged guys, just a generalization). "Yes officer I was racing that kid, give me a ticket, I make $170,000 a year and pay a measly $700 per month for auto insurance, I'll probably get a surcharge of $50."

There is a debaging option you can get when you order or buy BMW's now. One of my neighbors had it done on his 525

I would never de-badge an M Car. Part of the heritage of BMW Motorsport is that M logo, and to me it means alot. I think I am getting teary...oh god.

lol.

I woulda loved to race that guy and seen the look on his face.

Having a de-badged E46 ///M is like having a debadged E30 ///M3, lol. Naw I suppose that because he was old he didnt want too much stuff back there and wanted to keep it clean. Old people dont like clashing colors and badges and stickers and stuff. I can understand that. Maybe he just didnt want the attention that an ///m3 brings good and bad. I bet you a pig doesnt know how to recognise an E46 ///M3 yet from a regular one. Anyways, at least you tried, Brad. Im proud of ya , son, lol.

I was trying to get next to Joey as well today. I had an extra person and luggage in the car but I wanted to run him anyhow. He's running sick 10psi with Alcohol/Water injection.
