In my opinion, I am not disappointed in the E46 3 series... What I am disappointed in is the next 3 series! Argh!! My Eyes!! Blinded by the hideousness of the new 3!

I expect an MSRP of 60-65k, which should not be bad at all for a car with 0-60 under 4sec.

Well, I already am disliking the look of the newer re-designed E46's. I have seen the new 3's somewhere before but I'll have to get back to you on posting a pic. As for the msrp being between 60 ->65K, that would be a great deal!

I will have to place my deposit tomorrow then. Regradless if the dealer knows about it or not. For 70, it would be a great deal and bargain compared to many cars, i.e. porsches out there. So Vince... you wanna sell me your car? J/K

Yea, I am starting to save now, seriously. By the time it comes to the states and is made, I should be out of college and working. Therefore able to afford it. I am a frosh now by the way... mechanical Engineering. Later

hey i heard that the M3 CSL is going to be in the area of more like $130,000, instead of 70 thousand, resaon being: the use of lightweight materials and carbon fibre in and out of the car and the incresed power out of an already stressed engine, BMW's engineers have even said that the current S54 engine is tuned quite high for a production car but its BMW, and they perform magic with engines, they have by far the best engineers. just look at the M12 engine, maxed out BMW's engine dyno at 1200 bhp. and built from a production, debored M10 block, same engine used on the E21 series 3er in the 315, 316, 318, 318i, and 320i; the original 3 series. just goes to show the robustness of BMW's engines. well, back to the M3 CSL. lightweight materials used in the engine and inside the car, plus ethe increased development put into the car will drive the price up that high, it could be lower, but who knows. just my $.02

dude, matt, it is the S54, reason? because it is a Motorsports engine, individual thorrotle bodies, and the engine is part hand built from the ///M factory in Germany. tuned from the factory. thats about it. peace out
