current E46 M3 is so ugly / But love CSL M3

As much as I had waited for the car when it came out it was a major disapointment. The new E46 M3 is so ugly, everything from the bumpers to the tail pipes are ugly in the curent 2001 and 2002 M3s. Currently I'm planing to move on to a Porsche Carrera in late 2002 or early 2003, but I'm reconsidering after reading about the BMW M3CSL which might be comming out in 2003. More then 350HP (WOWWWW) If BMW comes out with this car I'm surely on board for 2003, otherwhise I'll move on to a grown mans 911 porsche.

It's not that much different from it's counterpart the stock e46 m3. The power is not that much more impressive, 350 as to compared to 343. True, it has more juicy bits and is comparatively lighter than its stock brother but is that worth all the extra money? Hmmm... I wonder how much it'll cost? If it's less than $100K I may consider (but I highly doubt it). Better get on the bandwagon before the official announcement. More power to ya! The CSL is a sweet car indeed. Don't forget to post pics if you get it!

ummm okay, you think the e46m3 is ugly, but you are now considering the m3csl...there's differences, but i mean if you think the stock m3 is ugly, i dont see how you can like the csl so much.

I think a stock 328is is ugly but I like and M3's so what's your point? The CSL has a different body kit, breaks, wheels, spoiler, glass, engine power and interior components. so what exactly is your point here?

There's a reason they make limited edition cars idiot, and it's for those who can notice and apreciate the sometimes big or little differences..

That's like asking why like a 911Turbo GT over a 911 Carrera... duhhhh???? get a clue..

I mean you think the core is ugly, but you change the body a bit and pop on some carbon fiber parts and you "love" it. That was simply my point. But hey man, you have your opinion, that's cool.
