| e46 m3 traction control Has anyone had their car on a chassis dyno? I'm wondering how the traction control will work given that the rear wheels will be turning-not the front-I would think that the TC would step in... Any thoughts or experience? Thanks in advance. |

| You have to pull a bunch of fuses.... all the ones the pertain to the DSC in any way. I tried to dyno the M once and couldn't find the correct info. After playing around for 30 minutes trying to get the correct ones pulled, I finally gave up. I think there are four or so different fuses you have to pull, otherwise it cuts out at 6500 RPM. |

| Pulling fuses still won't work. The only way to run it on the dyno with full power, is to active the test function in the engine control unit using a BMW diagnoisis tester. Which you can only find at your local BMW dealer and needs to be connected to the car at the same time it is on the dyno.

| Strange, I have dynoed a few E46 M3's. I just hit the DSC button and it shuts it right off. Could Euro spec be different in this aspect?
