I saw my first SMG E46 M3?

I work at BMW of Fairfax and there was an E46 M3 with SMG man the shifter was so nice. Nothing like I have ever seen before. I think BMW is going to have problems with it at first. After the first 1200 miles it has to be taken in for service to be checked out.

Um, 1200mi is the first standard service interval (SMG equipped or not).

I've been checking around to see if there's been any horror stories with the SMGII yet and so far nothing.. Good sign
