oh man, e36 is by far one of the best handling cars i've ever driven. it takes out all competition when it comes to any kind of car, let alone the e46!

I would have to say E 36 stock but if you got a E46 with some $$ into show , Then Hands down E 46

I can honestly say, that for a daily driver, I would take the E46. But, for a racecar, my E36 will eat an E46 M3 for lunch(with the exception of the M3 GTR and the likes). The E36 is just an unbeatable track car when fully tricked out.

dont forget to mention the great looks of an E36. I think my E28 even looks better then an E46..and its more fun to drive also.

Styling- I feel the E46 is more under stated, IMO.
