audi a4 3.0(quattro) vs. bmw 330xi which to get

sorry if this has been posted b4 but a search didnt turn up anything. but this is one helluva hard decision for me because both of them are so similar or i thought it was. they both have the same engine size, body size, german engineering, and 4wd. the 4wd is a good thing in the minnesota winters tho its been pretty mild the past few years. well i guess it comes down to the style ride and car quality. both will be bought new and the audi is only about 5k cheaper than the bimmer loaded. so which would you rather buy?

I think Quattro is a better system in the snow than the 330xi's. But drive both, and see which one you like better.

If you are planning to get a AWD unless you are getting
the audi S4 I would get the BMW, and if is just A4 audi
might as well spend extra 5K and get the Ultimate driving
Machine.........

I'd get the A4, no offense but 330xi is not the ultimate driving machine. BMW's awd system sucks.

A4. if AWD is your thing, than go for people who know how to do it right. Late 90s A41.8T or 2.8. APR has a lot of upgrades for them that'll do it good.

If you buy the 330xi you will be another BMW AWD system lab rat, they don't get enough feedback to know what they are doing, I would rather pick up the A4 even though I don't like the body design.

Once you drive the A4 3.0 next to the 330xi. You will want the Audi. There are something BMW will never be beat at, but AWD is not one of them. Audi is theking of AWD. Quattro is just to good.

Get the A4 3.0

hmm.. i hope that you are not talking about the e30 325ix which is one helluva car,
reliable, quick, awesome handling... saved my ass tons of times in the snow!

maybe the 330xi is a piece of shit, but the e30 IX is an awesome car...

well ive been going through dealers and ive found a few audi to my exact specifications and just one bimmer that almost has everything i want. i realize that audi has a better awd system so now what about the reliability? i would rather get stuck with a car that is dependable without annoying problems than another car with better performance.

I drove those two cars about two months ago, on the same day. The Audi 3.0 quattro got my buy (I tried to go in as non-biased as possible, seeing as I already have an A4).
