Finally: Pictures of my 330i

My only mods so far are the front license plate delete and 15% tint everywhere except for 50% tint on the windshield. I'm hoping to get some Dinan mods this Christmas though...

Whereabouts in central Florida are you? I'm in Oviedo (near Orlando). We have a guy with a stage 2 turbo M3 here, a kid with a 98 M3, and a few others. You should come drive around with us some night. Btw, tint on the windshield in florida is illegal. ;D Just to let you know.

I thought tinting the windshield in Florida was legal. My brother lives in Miami and he has tint on his windshield.

I am in Gainesville, FL. I have a 97 Z3 and I have a friend with a 98 328is. We both like to drive fast, and do things on highways that the pigs don't like

There should be a Central Florida BMW cruise or something, I know some good twisty roads around here (as good as they get in Florida

)

Your car looks nice and clean, BTW. Good call on getting lighter tint on the windshield, it's important for visibility at night

I know a guy whose dad is a cop, and apparently the rule on tint in Florida is that the cops need to be able to tell the race and sex of the driver. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you everyone for your kind words! I believe that any front windshield tint is illegal. I've never been pulled over for it, though. I think the legal limit is 30% on the front sides and anything you want elsewhere, sans windshield. Oh, and yeah, Boondock Saints: great film.

i'm sorry but i have to say this. people like you don't deserve to drive. first of all your going pratically 120mph. second of all with 1 hand taking a picture. i would really recomend taking that pic down before a cop see's it or someone report it. just a lil advice

I think that it's just to be able to see what the driver is doing. Someone could easily hold a gun to a really tinted window next to a cop and the cop wouldn't even know. I believe that's the main reason. I can't remember where I heard it, maybe I'm wrong? But whatever.

I don't see it that way. The car was built to keep those kinds of speeds. (European roads anyone?) There are plenty of safe spots around central Florida to go fast.

As for a cop seeing the picture. What's he going to do? Cry about it? There's nothing that can be done just from the picture. There isn't even a way to prove it was HIM taking the picture.

Umm.... maybe I didn't notice but, it's a brand new car and you're going 120mph???!!!!!

That other guy was right, you don't deserve that beast. Sure they're meant to go fast after they are broken in. You really shouldn't tac. over 3500 for at least the first 1200miles. Just a little advice.

*Remind me not to buy that car when she goes up for sale.

Oh, I would never go that fast in a brand new car! My 330i had around 5200 miles when I took that shot. I didn't even start to open the car up until 1200 miles. I may be reckless, but I'm not stupid ;-)
