E46M3 mirrors on an E36

I was in San Jose (Montegue Expressway) the other day, on some business and saw a nicely modded, gray E36 325i (4 door)with M Contour wheels. It had either an ACS or Reiger body kit, but the thing that was really interesting was that he had what looked like E46 M3 mirrors. It looked very nice.

Will E46 M3 mirrors fit on an E36 door? If these were aftermarket, who makes them?
