Saw a silver turbo 330i at Sears Point ran 14.3!!!

Was anyone at Sears Point last weekend? Was i smoking or did i see a turbo silver 330 run 14.3? Dont they run 14.5 or 14.6 stock? Please confirm my confusion. If it was really turbo then he probably shoved his head up his ass and went home. haha

yup.. that must be a BS .... 14.6 to 14.3 ? If I were him, I would not bother slap on a turbo into my car .. useless

I think he had really bad traction problems. His 60 foot times were poor but trap speeds were like 108mph!

Weak? He had a 108mph trap speed, which is the horsepower indicator!!! ET's are just how fast you get and up go..

Does anyone have any info on his turbo? Who set it up?? What is it??

With a trap speed of 108 that car has potential. If he hooks up he will run low low 13s or maybe even high 12s.

I think his turbo setup is custom.....he hasn't given much info on his blower

In his last thread with all the people claiming he was a liar and other BS, He posted pics of HIS custom setup and basically shut everyone the hell up. His times will improve and thats a fact. His car is still be being worked on as we speak....

I believe that has to be Kromex's car. Now before everyone starts bashing him, you should probably now that hes prototyping his own turbo system, so I'm sure hes got a ton of small things to work out. Second, look at his trap speed, that is clearly indicative of the performance potential of the car. I have heard really good things about the amount of power he has been able to squeeze out of the 3.0L engine, so I would wait just a little longer considering the circumstances and see what he has to offer when hes got everything all sorted out.
