03 330CI audio upgrade

I have placed an order of a 03 330CI. However, I haven't decided should I go with the HK or not. What I planned to do is to install a in-dash DVD player with screenk, if necessary, I would think about changing speakers and Sub too.

The question is, if I got around $4k to spend, should I go for the HK, just add the dash dvd player? Or should I go without the HK, and spend the money on upgrading the speakers, amp and sub.

Here's an auction from ebay for a Panasonic DVD + screen, any comment on this model?

a good aftermarket company such as cdtaudio focal diamond dynaudio etc etc will piss on the hk setup

and no, the name brands listed are in no particular order
