looking for a local sale (AA ECU 4 330)

just like the subject says.... i have an Active Autowerks ECU made for any 330 5-speed. i would like to sell it locally. this is for the entire ecu. you dont have to send out your old one or even give it to me....this will give you the option to plug in your old ecu at any time. retail for this product is $1500 and thats just to reprogram your stock ecu. im setting the price at $650 obo.

Is the ECU that you have the same as this?

Did you run this in one of your cars? The HP and Torque gains do not seem that great. Do you know what maping this is? Did it come with a specific dyno chart. According to AA this product is not generic:

"AA now offers a newer Generation of software for the newer cars. - It is not just speed limiters raised, and/or rpms redline thresholds bumped higher, but a lot more... -Higher horsepower gains are achieved within usable powerbands. -There are over 30 versions of software for the E46 330 ci/i alone for example. - With countless variations just for one model alone, software tuning cannot be generic."

I am interested for my fathers car which is an 01 330cic. I am just a little confused about the exact performace and compatibility of this product.

sorry for not clarifying.... im selling this ecu for a friend. he has a 330 5 speed with dinan intake and exhaust ( i think AA). i dont know what the chip looks like cuz its encased in the factory ecu box. i will try to find out if its the newer version thru my friend... i have to wait till he calls me cuz his old cell doesn't work anymore.

if u want it anyways, i will let it go for $500 if you buy it within the next 5 days. today is 9/2/02.
