| What are the differences between 330ci packages and years When I get out of school I have my heart set on a used 330ci. I get confused some though about the differences between the years and various packages. Is there anydifference between the first and the current 330's? I am currently a member of a nissan forum and several members have sites with pics devoted to showing the small differnces between years of the same generation and trim levels. I dont want to make an uninformed decision and get something other the what i really really want this time around. If anyone has any input it would be very much appriciated. Thanks a lot guys. |

| On 2001 330's you have to watch out for the dreaded fan and thermostat recall. This was an electrical failure which caused the auxiliary fan to stop working which could cause overheating of the engine. As for packages and/or options, the 2002+ now have BI-Xenons instead of just Xenons as an option. This is where the high-beam and the low beam are Xenon lights (it's actually just a refracted lens and lid), instead of just the low-beams being Xenon. As kevln stated, Harman Kardon became a standard on coupes in 2002. But so did the in-dash CD player. Clear indicator lights became standard with the Sport Package. A mid-year change is the color-coded lower mesh surround. The titanium accents were something introduced with the 330 model since 2001. And lastly (as far as I can remember) 2002 Navigation systems were upgraded to the new 16:4 ratio screen.

| What trim package do the wheels in your sig pic come with, they are by far the best looking wheels on any of the current bmw's in my oppinion. I never knew some bmw's came with clear inicators stock. I have spent a good 2k on factory modds because I tried to find the cheapest deal on my nissan rather then the one I wanted. I added factory leather, upper trim level wheels, fogglights, etc just to make the car look how I wanted it when I could have had them all initially if I had paid an extra 1k when I bought the car. If I end up getting a 330 I want it to be exactly how I want it. I hate the feeling when I see my car just 10x nicer looking, f you know what I mean. |
