BMW has determined that certain 99-00 model year BMW automobiles with M52TU six cylinder engines may not fully meet the EPA and CAlifornia Air Resources Board emission control requirements.
BMW has determined that your 99-00 automobile incorporates a crankcase ventilation hose that may fail prematurely which would cause the engine to run rough and the Check Engine Light to illuminate.
