Headlight Question For E46

does anyone know how to get that ION effect on the e46 headlights.??.. I have xenons and i dont think they're like the 5 series xenons.. and I've seen the new 5 series headlights coming towards me during day and night..and they flicker from bright white...blue/purple colors... can i change my bulb on my xenons?..to get the same effect.....perhaps a different bulb?..some one get back.. Thanks.

I have the HID lights and they do exactly that. I think you need to clarify a little.
