Lexus ES Navigation installed in E46

You guys won't believe this but I hear that some guy in the Bronx that my friend knows is about to try installing a Lexus ES navigation system in a 1999 E46 4 door.

I don't even think this is possible...or is it? are the housings even the same size?

anythins possible when it comes to an electrical setup. personally the lexus nav is a hell of a lot better then the bmw nav
