19" wheels on my new 330ci??

Well, I'm already starting to mod and I don't even have my car yet. I'm picking up my 01' 330ci on Friday and I want to put new wheels on it to make it stand out a little but. I am actually thinking about 19" M3 wheels because I want to keep it classy looking with BMW style wheels and not some other aftermarket styles. First, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with 19" wheels on their 330ci? And I'm probably going to buy replica's because I don't really see the point of spending over $1000 more for the "real" wheels when I don't really car and my car isn't a "real" M3 anyways. I want to get polished wheels because I think it would look really good since my car is black. So I was wondering if anyone knew where online I could find 19" Polished E46 M3 wheels? Also, what are the offsets I need for our car if the wheels were 19x8 and 19x9 and what size tires would be the best fit?
Thanks,
-Brandon

A local guy out here has a 330ci with some ACS 19" rims on it. It is silver and it looks pretty damn sweet. You might have to do some fender rolling though.

You know what the 19" M3 euro rims would look damn nice on a black 330. Aren't those gunmetal also? IMO gunmetal would look good on a black car......

Yeah, I think they are. I'm not sure if I want gunmetal or not. Does anyone have pictures of any gunmetal wheels on a black 330ci or any bimmer? Any pictures of polished m3 wheels on a black bmw?
Thanks,
-Brandon

s2000

I absolutely loved my S2000. The only problem is that it wasn't practical enough. I am a college student and 2 seats and a small trunk was not enough room. I won't be able to do a comparison between the 330ci and the s2000 until after I get my car and drive it for a while this weekend. I would definately reccomend the s2000 if you have another car as a daily driver, but if this S2000 will be your only car, you may want to wait until you can afford to have two cars. That's just my opinion.
Later,
-Brandon

Check out e46fanatics.com...Lots of 19s there. You will

need to lower or will look goofy. Too much gap between ties and body with the low profile. A good place to find what your looking for is http://thewheelexchange.com You will also need to use front wheels on all four corners. The M3 rears have the wrong offset and won't fit.

These are the Euro 19"

yeah, the 19" E46 M3 wheels won't fit anything except an E46 M3 because it has much larger arches and flared fenders.. and the 19's are polished, not gunmetal.

and the reason you want the "real" M3 wheels is because they're forged.. forged wheels are MUCH stronger than cast aluminum wheels. replicas are definately not forged, they're cast.. and with 19" and a 235/35-19 tire you want as much strength as you can get!

Go check out the Member's Rides section at http://e46.dtmpower.net

You will find many E46's there with 19's. Along with probably one of the most famous (or is that infamous? ) E46's out there right now, DoNDoN's ESS Supercharged 328Ci.
