| For e46 325 owners when your car is stopped and when you turn the steering wheel does the rpm's dip down low a little bit? does your car every feel like it is goign to stall and die?

| I have noticed that when my car is stopped and i turn the steering wheel, the rpm's go down a little. the idle drops a bit from maybe 800 rpm's to maybe 650 rpms but only while the wheel is being turned. It never really was very serious though or posed a problem to me. |

| Ditto, even though mine is a 323.

| Well, I NEVER turn my steering wheel while the car is stopped. That kills off the tires faster. I only turn the wheel while the car is moving. I thought that turning the wheel while the car is stopped even messes up your alignment. Not positive, though But, yes when you turn your steering wheel the rpms do drop. It happens in other cars too.

| its the power steering pump turning. when you arent moving, it takes a lot of force to turn the wheels, so the pump has to turn harder, drawing a lot of power from the motor. if you have a lightweight flywheel, you can sometimes stall by doing that, if you have the AC and radio on Edit: cant spell for shit, fixed it
