m43 1.9 to turbo

hi
i own a manual 1999 e46 318i with m43 1.9 engine, i love this car since it was my first car 8 years ago
wat can i do to increase it's power , can i install some type of turbo or wat ???
plz help

before i'd turbo a 1.9l i'd attempt to engine swap.
