| I would not be too concerned about it. HIDs build up a significant voltage and then fire when they light off. It is not surprising that an aftermarket starter would not shield well enough such that your radio antenna or your speaker wires would pick up the pulse from the discharge.
Another possibility would be if the lights are introducing a sudden dip or surge in the power bank such that your amplifier feels it and feeds it through to your speakers. If you have an analog voltmeter, monitor the power to the radio and see if the needle flickers when you turn on the lights. |
