2002 e46 engine swap?

i have been thinking about taking out my engine from a 325i 2002 and putting in some type of v8. i was mostly thinking on either a 540i same year engine. but i had some questions if i would then have to buy a new transmission and drivetrain but it would be about a 100 foot pound of torqe increase. i can buy the 540i engine for 1800$ with all engine electronics, but will it come together such?

chances are that the stock trans will be able to take the power, whats the model number of your transmission?
