| Clutch help? maybe transmission? Hey, just joined the forum been looking around trying to find something similar to my issue but didn't come across anything that maybe related.
Now I own a 2001 325i Sedan has 133k miles on it (and I hope still going strong)
It's a manual transmission but it feels as though there is something wrong with the clutch or atleast something related to it.
Now here is what seems to happen, I put push in the clutch and place the car into gear, the clutch seems to vibrate and cause a sort of slippage and can feel the vibrations under my foot as if the clutch continues to readjust itself. Now the whole joke is it seems to do it off and on, when It starts to do this it gets harder to take off and also the transition from lets say first to second and even second to third there gets like a studder that isn't there when the clutch functions as it normally did.
My friend believe it could be a fluid issue, I think it has to do with the pulley's.
It rained heavy over the last 2 days and the drive seemed smooth today and it didn't act up as it has been for the last week - week and half. So I feel it has to do with some kind of lube somewhere.
Anyways if any ideas are out there please let me know I am look into what it might be before I drop it off at bmw this way I can get an idea of what it's going to cost to fix. |
