Your tranny has electronic sensors and some rudimentary logic. Those circuits may be very sensitive to voltage. If your battery was failing or the terminals were corroded on the old battery, the electronics may have been seeing voltage fluctuations that affected their operation.
BTW - tranny fluid is not really permanent. Your tranny will like you better if you change the fluid and filter every 50k miles, 100k miles if you drive very gently. |
